MN | Has anyone had good luck with a phone app that can share specific gps locations in a field with a group?
I'm thinking that everyone on the farm could log into an a shared account and when they spot something that the whole group needs to know about they could add it to a map using the phone gps and everyone could see it. Then if it's a large rock, whoever has time to hop in the rock picker or skidloader would be able to drive right to it. Would also work for damaged tile inlets or anything else that needs to be located with some amount of accuracy?
I know you can map on most tractor gps systems but a skidloader or rockpicking tractor may not have that system installed. A phone app would let everyone you want in a group to be able to find the issue. Climate probably has this capability but I don't use it. | |
