SW Iowa | Have a new to us 8410 and I am new to the electrical stuff on the 8000s tractors. SCV 3 does not seem to be working at all. The hoses do not jump as if there was pressure or if the hoses were hooked incorrectly. After going into diagnostic mode I found that the computer thinks that the switch is either in extend or retract all the time and never says neutral. Would this just be a bad switch (potentiometer) or what else do I need to be investigating? Also, if it is the switch is it difficult to do or simply just replacing the potentiometer? | |
