Probably be better to buy a 16. The main bar is 8 so just remove the wings. I’d have to look at mine (16 row) closer, but you’d have enough units to make your splitter. I would prefer 8/16 myself, then you just follow the corn rows when splitting beans. I do that with a 5400 ss drill with 16 units.
