I think maybe the newer aluminum hub-centric rims are also a factor. Older stamped steel, lug-centric wheels are not a real precision piece in my experience.


Aluminum Lug Centric > Aluminum Hub Centric= Steel Lug Centric > Steel Hub Centric is my personal opinion for how "true" something runs. The only thing the hub centric is good for is idiotproofing wheel systems. the types who cant even get the hand holes lined up to check inside dual air are the types Hub centric was invented for. lol
