I have a new to me versatile 305. Just got it home and of course the batteries were completely dead so I had to jump it. It flashed code f217 and will not display what gear it’s in and the fuel gauge just blinks. Seems to run and drive fine tho. Also the hydraulic temp light is on. I put new batteries in it today and it’s still doing it. Called the dealer and they couldn’t find code f217. It also says 2766 when it flips to the 3pt screen. Its a 2012 model
Took me 20 seconds to find F217. Open Electrical Service manual, CTRL-F to Find in the PDF, type F217.
Hydraulic Oil Temperature High.
Now, likely there is no issue other than the dash needs reset, as someone else also posted...and I attached the instructions, and also Versatile's bulletin for their "fix" of a battery draw.
I have very little experience on the MFWD Versatile's, we have not sold one since 2004, but do quite a bit on their 4WD tractors...but all their manuals are similar, so I can find you thin info.
