I’d put 250 in each box but agree with the others that you don’t want a lot more in the back than the front. 

My reason for 250 in each box is related to tire load and my previous experience with regularly occurring tire problems on gravity wagons.   

I do not miss hauling grain with wagons.  Not at all.
