Installing drive on a 700 planter with the single cylinder. Looks like the mounting bracket needs to go where the transport lock is and no room to even get the ubolt installed with clutch in the way. Any tricks to mounting this bracket and where it should be located on the transmission? About ready to weld bracket to bar. Also, is it necessary to add the floating wheel kit hinge or is this an option? Not sure how skips will be if I do not install it on hilly ground and washouts.

I did this install on mine last year. I remember having to watch where the bracket mounted in relation to the transport lock, but I was still able to get it. Getting the ubolt up was definitely tricky but doable. I can get some closeup pictures of mine tonight if you'd like. And I didn't mount the floating wheel kit, honestly because I couldn't figure out how. The directions for the hinge kit were non existent if memory serves. |
