Yes, that type of construction is fairly amenable to repairing with some of the aluminum “brazing” rods. I had seen videos advertising miracle rods but never bought any.

One day I had a project I wanted to try some on so I went to tractor supply and bought a pack of the ones they had. I tried to fix a cracked aluminum line but it was leaking under a swaged on bracket and I could get the stuff to wet the exposed tubing and flow under the bracket but not enough to stop the leak. If it had been exposed like that I’m certain I could have done it.

Clean clean clean….
