Thank you Stacy. Good to hear your story. I did some limited reading about this on the net. Mayo said there will be some pain after exertion. Well this evening I was lugging on a load binder in the shop and now I do feel it but it’s not bad. They weren’t too worried about the pain. They claim the bulge or hard spot is fat of all things but when the gut starts coming out things go south fast. They lean toward having it fixed if I read their doctor language right. Another website was more of an infomercial put out by a surgeon who specializes in hernias. He suggests getting it fixed for two reasons. First reason, it won’t heal itself, it can only get worse. Second reason, the longer we wait the older we get and the harder the recovery will be because of age. Maybe this doctor is telling it like it is, maybe not.
