NW Iowa | For you guys who have or have had a stomach hernia do or did you have pain with it? I have had one for a couple years now and I am starting to feel some light pain in that area. It’s coming from a 5” vertical appendix surgery scar from 49 years ago. The appendix was in the middle of my belly, not on the right side and it was ruptured so that is why the scar is in the middle. A couple years ago I started feeling a bunch on the right side of center when I bent over to tie the shoes. I didn’t think much about it till the gastroenterologist said I have a stomach hernia when she was pressing on my belly diagnosing diverticulitis. She acted very uninterested in it at that time. Now that I been spending time in the cab it’s starting to show a little pain. I don’t know if I should get excited about it or not. It takes a long time to get into this gastro doctors office. If I make an appt now I might get in by mid summer. | |
