It does come out without removing to much. I can’t remember all the details but there are a number of screws to remove and the plastic cover behind the seat bends away enough to sneak it out and new one back in. Almost seems impossible but it’s not to bad if your patient. Mine would blow the fuse when used on high speed. Replaced and worked great now. This is on a 2020 L328 would think it’s the same.
