Electric drive would eliminate all shafts, sprockets, chains, and bearins but if you have a problem you'd need to be handy with a volt meter and other wiring tools which scares me. My stuff is all ground driven so far, if the shaft is turning its planting, my next will be electric. Electric drive and hyd down pressure would be the cats meow.
