Subject: 9130 power shift oil level questio

Hi, anyone with a 9xxx case tractor & 12 speed powershift, i have 2 questions.

Changed my transmission fluid today, went from hytran to shell spirax s4 txm. When i got the level touching the base of the dipstick, it seemed like it was only a litre or two between the bottom and over full. Don't recall it being like that in past oil changes, is that what any of you've experienced?

Second question is how do you guys check oil level? Operators manual states to do it with the tractor off but i found a forum post of s guy saying to do it with engine running at 1500rpm. I did the later, as after the first pale of oil i had to keep tractor running to suck oil level down after adding more.

Could i possibly have a plugged breather? Thanks.
