Train headed to Herferd from basically IN, so corn is on its way. Bids after the rolls haven’t been pretty. Country side elevators in the -25 to -35N with e-plants 10-15 over.
Hereford has 2 ethanol plants grinding 60 million bu per year.. plus feedlots
110 car 100 ton train will cover just the ethanol plants needs for 50 hours..
Last year estimated that Kansas received about 450 such shuttles.. gonna take almost that much again this year. |
