It is already done in fuel systems.

Our propane trucks are on handheld computers, bring in to office everynight and the tickets are download over the server and the next days deliverys are downloaded back in the handheld,  NO paper work,  It has been pretty flawless since we put them in.

Dreaming, 20 years ago it was dreaming to have youe tractor steer itself!
