| Depends on the finish. Andover is the most popular. I have been collecting Tell City for several years now. IMO, a nice table with 8 chairs, minimal wear, should go for between $500 and $800. Of course, I am in Tennessee and there is not as much here as there would be there in Il or In. Also, if the table has a solid maple top in good condition, it is worth a bit more than the ones that have the formica top. I paid $300 for a set of 6 ladderback chairs at an antique mall in Indianapolis, all in very good condition, and was glad to get them. You can check ebay, but keep in mind because of limited shipping sometimes they sell for less. Really nice sets sell locally for more. I have collected antiques for years and more often than not, it comes down to what is it worth to you? | |
