| I was not advocating the women to drive if they were not competent drivers. I was my intent to urge women not to restrict themselves by unreasonable fears. Women are no different than men in that they are capable drivers on an equal basis with men if they don't put unnecessary barriers to themselves. Many limit themselves and allow their anxiety to diminish their ability. eventually they are afraid to drive in the local county seat town let alone the state capital. I'm urging them to maintain their self confidence and they do that by continuing to function even though they may feel a little uncomfortable is some situations. Practice builds self confidence. Retreating diminishes it. | |
