MW ON | For sure. When I am making supper, I'll simply make a double recipe when I can, and freeze one. Yesterday we had stew, so I'll fill small foil containers and freeze the leftovers. Today I'm cooking up a chicken, and then I'll make a casserole out of the leftovers and probably a nice hearty soup. The last of the corn in the garden will be made into corn chowder, and left overs put in the freezer.
These are just some ideas off the top of my head, I need to browse my cookbooks again for others. Pies are nice to have on hand, but baking is hard to put away before the rest of the family gets into it!
I've always been intrigued by the concept of once a month cooking, but I would like to do it on a smaller scale.
