| I agree a rinse is worth it. Shampooing carpet is another thing I rarely do so if I do, it really, really, needs it LOL!
I have a Bissel Carpet Machine that hooks on to a household tap with an adapter. I have an unopened 64 oz bottle of Hoover Steam Vac Carpet Upholstery Detergent on hand. I've had it quite a while and it's marked $14.99. The directions say to use 5oz per gallon of water. Not sure that is how it will work with the Bissel machine but close enough for me.
My old carpet needs to be thrown out anyway. And if I did I would likely replace it with vinyl. | |
