Page 58 tell how change the nema out settings. You would need a special cable from garman that would send GPS out of the unit the cable number from garmin is 010-10165-00 you would most likely need a external Antonia also garmin part number 010-10702-00. I have used an older garmin gps III and the cable I use has the power plug and a 9 pin serial cable to hook to a yield monitor and I could set that garmin to work with farm works. The nice thing about using that kind is that when not being used in the combine you can take it on the road with you. If you can find one in a store and go to the gps output menu and see if it will export the gps strings you need.

Another option is the The Garmin GPS 18 DB-9 pin serial with 12-volt cigarette lighter adapter they are relatively inexpensive and should work if you get the one with the 9 pin serial. They look like a small hockey puck with a couple of cables coming out only to be used with a external monitor or computer. You would also need to hook it to a computer to set the nema output to what you yield monitor needs. Link to it http://www.garmin.com/products/gps18oem/
The other options is to get a EZ-Guide light bar and use the gps out of it then you will have the ability to upgrade to auto steer in the combine.
