If you are using two pounds of hamburger it will take about a block of velveeta cheese... you can add 1 - 8 ounce cream cheese and I also add salsa.... add the salsa after you have melted the cheese and added the cooked hamburger..... it will probably take most of a 14 to 16 ounce jar. I have never put refired beans in this hot dip. I do have a very good layered mexican dip with refired beans in it. If you want it let me know... easy to make and will disappear quickly.
