Had 3 kids, none bottle fed.  1 had colic 2 didn't. All I can suggest is put a car seat in the truck, get an audio book to listen to, and be ready to spend a lot of evenings driving around.  That was the only thing that satisfied our colicy kid.

BTW grandkids are the best revenge
