SE Nebraska, Near Misery and Cans Ass! | My dearest wife made some potato and vegetable soup today and we took some to my mother who is in a care facility. Her health is not really bad she just doesn't have any strength and vert little appetite any more. In the last two years she has had a brolen neck and both knees replaced. If she had had the knees replaced when she should have she wouldn't have had the broken neck but can't change that. Her mind is good and she is not in any pain and will enjoy going out to eat with us Sunday noon. Should be happy I guess but I'm not. Lost Dad to Parkinsons 11 years ago and I am not ready to see Mom decline. She still loved her job as a secretary at the age of 82. Can't even keyboard now. |
