OK, that is what I was driving at.  The current problem is with the local wireless service blocking out going calls to port 25 to put in very simple terms.  (If I am following this right).

I have access to web based mail on this account, but I hate to use it.  As Carl mentioned below, the mail is not in your normal archive unless you take extra steps.  Most web mails services will not readily import your contact list and then you have 2 locations to keep updated.  I do not like Outlook for mail, but it's strong point is the synchronization capabilities to keep multiple machines updated.
