Hillsboro, AL | I had similar problems a couple of years ago on Direcway. Because of the latency problems in satellite Internet, they try to cache as much content as possible at the satellite upload center (NOC). That was causing all kinds of problems on Direcway. Secure sites (https) were so slow they were almost unusable. I suspect Wild Blue is trying something similar. All the problem reports seem to be coming from Wild Blue subscribers. We are at a loss for an answer to the problem here. There have been no changes to the forum software. Some Windows updates were loaded to the server, but we do not see any thing in those updates that we thing might cause this problem. | |
