Subject: RE: Difference between the term "farmer's wife" and "farm wife"?

A farmer's wife is someone married to a man who happens to farm and it happens to be where she will live. She most likely had a town job before they were married and will not be giving this up. She will most likely bring her kids to someone else to raise while keeping the job that she thinks she needs. She will then come home to the farm exhausted/stressed and have commitments other than her husband's occupation. She has little left for his children, let alone him or her beautiful surroundings.

A farm wife? .... you guessed it. She can't stand the thought of anyone but herself experiencing her children and couldn't think of a better way to spend her day than in support of her husband and the great life so few get to have. She is willing to learn and marvel at what he does and be an active participant.

Me? I started out as a farmer's wife and made a glorious transformation into a farm wife. The husband and four kids on this farm couldn't think of having it any other way.

I hope you take this message to heart and best of luck to the both of you and your marriage.
