Near-north Ontario, French River | Two options that I can think of, either install an invisible fence near the road to stop him from even approaching the road, or catch him in the act of crossing, and scold him severely while on the road. Over the years we've had breeds like beagles, spaniels,bluetics... they all knew they were free to roam anywhere on the farm but the road was off limits. |
