When I was small I love to go with my mother in our small farm(1 hectar about 1 mile away from our house) Most of the time I am just playing under the tree but once in while I love watching my mother working hard squatting on the ground pulling weeds one by one with the help of her dull machete. I am always impress of how our farm is weedless. I never would thought I will love gardening. I also found myself mimicking my mother. My 7 years old son even teach me how to use the garden tools. He don't understand why I am squatting most of the time on the ground using  the trowel when in his mind I can use the garden tiller or the hoe. For me it's not about convenience but because this is how my mother do it. I am sure most farmer are the same way. They learn farming from their parents. 

Everytime I touch the dirt with my bare hands I always remember my mother. I always think that if she only choose to stay here with me my garden sure is weedless. My mother always grow excellent crops too.
