We are redoing an upstairs area and two bedrooms. We went with the Mohawk carpet made from corn sugar - called Smart Strand. It is supposed to have excellent stain and crush resistance. With a 9# high density pad - it ran a little over $4.00 per square ft installed.
Anyone bought new carpet lately?
