2 cups flour                2 cups pumpkin puree

2 tea. Baking powder   1 cup vegetable oil

1 tea. baking soda       1/2 tea. salt

1 1/2 tea. cinnamon      1 1/2 cup 40% bran flakes

1/2 tea. ground cloves    16 oz. package semi sweet morsels

1/4 tea. allspice            1 cup coarsly chopped walnuts

1/4 tea. ginger              2 cups sugar

4 eggs

Sift dry ingredients together and set aside.  Beat eggs until foamy, add pumpkin, bran flakes, and vegetable oil.  Mix well.  Add dry ingregients mixing only until combined.  Stir in nuts and semi sweet morsels.  Spread evenly in 9x13 ungreased cake pan.  Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hr 10 min.

Serve with whipped topping, ice cream, or make a powder sugar glaze to pour on the cake.

DARN!! now I got to go check the pumpkins so I can get the little lady to bake me a cake.
