Subject: Powered Ipaq cradle

I just bought a powered Ipaq cradle for my 3650 Ipaq. It does not charge the battery. There is no power feed going from the cradle to the Ipaq, the power is supposed to flow through the data port. My question is can a 3650 get power form the data port? Has any body been successful using an Ipaq in a power cradle?
