Subject: RE: My gut say's...........

Woodbury county
I doubt if there is 30% of the corn planted in this area. We had over 4 inches of rain nearly a week ago and yesterday it started pouring down rain again and the forecast is for rain for the next 7 days. There was only 3 decent days dry enough to get any planting done between these rains. Rain forecast to be over 5 inches before the weather finally clears for this area and that is on ground that is already saturated with water........there are a lot of wet spots that will not get planted and now with the rivers forecast to spill over their banks, there will no doubt be a some prevented planting for Federal Crop along these rivers. Will be interesting to see how the corn that is planted comes up through the sloppy muddy fields.......and no doubt will be a lot of crusting for the corn to push through.
