What Ed says is true, however there are several ways to see the view you are looking for, Kevin.

If you log in, there is a button at the upper left of the page which says "new threads" Clicking on this button will show all threads which have been active since your last login. The most recent reply or post will be at the top, and they will be chronoligical down the page. If there have been a lot of posts since your last login, you might have to click "revise search" and select a single forum at a time rather then "search all forums" Through "revise search" you can also change the search parameters to do lots of other neat stuff.

A second option is to click one of the upper right hand buttons: "posts active today" which shows everything in the last 24 hours, or "your active posts" which shows every post you have replied to. Everything listed from a search is most recent at top, chronological down the page. You will have to narrow the search to keep from overfilling that page.
