Subject: Re: Why Plant Double-crop Soybeans?

I know a guy in Kansas that does DC beans because he figures that he will spray it two or three time to keep the weeds out if anyway. He plants about 50-60,000 seed /acre so seed cost is low. Some years it's a bust other years they give a nice little bonus. The beans also seem to leave the soil very mellow. This is no-till and I don't think it would be an option to do so in conventional till, moisture and margin wise.
