Aberdeen MS
Very interesting in how different areas react differently.

April 27th planted corn, 100 day corn (give or take 2 to 3 days maturity) "here" is still as green as the grass is (for the most part and normally the case in normal rainfall). We are 200 GDU's ahead of normal this year and even with the dry year, there is no corn even hinting of being ready for the combine. A lot of silage being made right now and that is 2+ weeks ahead of normal.

Corn might be starting in another 30 days this year, but normally doesn't start till Oct 10 +/- for 20% corn.

High group 1, low group 2 beans, harvest starts around Sept 10 - 15. My beans are still grass green, but many are starting to show hints of turning this past week.
