I agree with you. It's called maximizing corperate profits. Also it offsets the higher fuel costs. I can't imagine how much more a company like Monsanto would spend when fuel prices go up a buck. I thought the price of glyphosate started to rise shortly after Monsanto bought a couple of the Chinese factories. I'm sure other things have played into this started the ball rolling. Monsanto still has to be one of the worlds largest Glyphosate manufactures and there tech go into quite a few of the generics.
