I have a pasture with areas of parsnip coming up through an otherwise very nice grass/clover pasture. Is there something I can use to get the parsnip that will not kill the clover, alfalfa, timothy, etc? Will just mowing it kill it or spread it? The cattle seem to pass it by but is it at all something that can be grazed when small or is it harmful? It does give you a rash if you break the stem on a larger/2 yr old plant and get the fluid on your skin. Found that out with the trimmer. I would appreciate any experience anyone could share. Seems like 2,4D would kill the clover and alfalfa also. Jim at Dawn
