Subject: What is the real shrink of soybeans when stored?

Just wondering what the real shrink is. I am debating if I should just haul beans in to elevator at harvest and store them there or put them in my machine shed like I have last 2 yrs. It does have cement floor and is not that bad to get them in and out but not nearly as conveniant as a bin.
They say 2% shrink but how long does it take to get to that much. I find it hard to believe if I put in 15000 bu in my shed and take it out in march that I will have 300 bushel less. I would think more like 50 bushel less. I can store them at elevator for 4 cents month with 15 cent min. It just seems that it would barely pay to put them in shed.
