North Central Iowa | We bought one of the first ones back in the early-mid 90's and installed it on a JD 6620...first 2 years it was a high priced glorified moisture sensor because that was the only part that worked...after several years of refining it was working quite well and we enjoyed it. We never hooked a GPS into it and recorded anything. 3 years ago we upgraded to an AgLeader Insight system and sold our Micro-Trak at a local consignment auction...got $75.00 for it. Biggest improvement that they made to it when we had it was when they added the leveling sensor. Prior to that, we would travel uphill and the yield dropped like a rock...vice versa when we traveled down an incline...yield jumped up way too high. Make sure it comes with the leveling unit otherwise you will be in the same boat that we were in. Hope this helps! | |
