Central To Everything and Close to Nothing
First off, go all the way with an auto-steering system as just starting with a lightbar is like buying the steak without the sizzle. The cost of a complete auto-steering system is affordable to any producer committed to his/her operation. My advice to you is to find a dealer close to you and get them to demo a system for you. All systems have their pros and cons. And don't just choose the system with the lowest price as you do get what you pay for with precision ag equipment. As well, pay a little extra for service and you will be much happier with which ever system you choose. If you want to narrow the field down, look at John Deere and Trimble/Ag Leader first as they have the majority of the market. If you don't like their offerings, go looking for something else but be careful as some of the smaller players are here today and maybe gone tommorrow. Finally, do a search on this site as there have been some good threads on this very subject. Good luck.
