+1. Sixty percent of the the winter wheat seeded west of the Mississippi river is dusted in. If your drill setup and soil conditions allow you to consistently get one inch of loose dirt over the seed, I say go for it. We are dry here, and the ground is very hard. Several guys have quit because they are rolling up boulders and not getting good seed to soil contact. but anybody running simple narrow point openers or single disk openers is still running. They'll finish this week, get rain in October and be in good shape.
