Subject: Boy, this subject hits home today

Had a malfunction with the moisture sensor on the yield monitor today, ended up combining two truckloads of beans that are somewhere in the 16% range before we caught the screw up.

Don't ask, they were dry stemmed, combined the same as the 9.5% variety right next to them.

Anyway, we're scratching our heads about what to do with them. Right now, we've got an empty drying bin that we are thinking about dumping them into, with some 9.5% beans. Blending, drying, etc, etc, etc.

Anyone know how long it might take to dry 2000 bu in a 30' bin from 16% to 13% ?? One day, two??

Dave
