SW KS, near Dodge City | And I'm probably gonna' get flamed for this (I'm a notiller), but why are you chiseling?
I know in our area about the only time the chisels come out are after fields have either had manure spread on them by truck, or they've been pastured heavily.
That ground looked so nice that I'm trying to figure out what the chiseling would do. I'm assuming that you're getting it ready for some crop next spring, and was wondering what you'd all plant that far north.
Wish we had some of the moisture I'm seeing in that ground so we could get wheat up.
