| I believe Monsanto is just beginning the process of price fixing on traits http://www.dowagro.com/newsroom/corporatenews/2007/20070914a.htm I believe that is likely the real story behind SmartStax, as it has limited commercial value to Farmers. After all a dead root worm is a dead root worm you can't kill it twice using the same mode of action with two differant traits.
Just so you understand my point of view I use traits myself they are generally a better value to me than conventional treatments. I just want these trait manufactures to compete in the marketplace just like the rest of us.
