Near-north Ontario, French River | I've been wanting to do just that for years Roger, only problem is no one seems to be able to/want create the VRT map based on crop removal. Sure they can do 'zones' but I want to use the actaul yield data to create the recommendations. That was my entire theory for getting a yield monitor. The plan was to build up soil levels based on soil test ( every 4-5 years), and eventually use the yield data to generate recs, and cut back on the soil sampling ( maybe every 6 years just to verify the yield generated recs were maintaining things ) |
