| Every year it seems that when I start to scout forage fields in the spring (snow has just recently diappeared) I usually find a few situations that need spucing up. Maybe an alfalfa/ timothy field that is not thick enough, that has some bare spots that will fill in with dandilions if not taken care of. Common practice is to broadcast either with an ATV or maybe a fertilizer spreader. What I really would like to do is use a drill, but I don't necesarrily think it has to a heavy no till drill that tills everything up. I think a conventional one would work but maybe it needs to set up a little differently. I was wondering if any of you have any thoughts or experience to pass along? | |
