northwest tennessee | Yes forages to me are undervalued. It takes nutrients to grow grass and no matter how you are selling what comes off you are not getting enough to keep up in my book. I have been putting more for several years than I have been taking off and dont want to start mining it out now but dont know what else to do. This fertilizer deal is going to get bad. You are right too in that when you are cutting hay on ground it is hard on it. You are taking everything off and leaving very little to go back to the soil. You do that long and you are in trouble. Let me know if you come up with any answers.
