South Central Kansas, Harper County | Since it has turned cooler in Kansas, how fast does the glyphosate absorb into the the volunteer wheat. I have one field that has a little volunteer on it, but I really would like to plant wheat on this field prior to this weekend, when there is rain in the forecast. This particular field is bottom ground, and if it gets any wetter, I may never get back in to get the wheat planted. I am not worried about Hessian Fly at this time, if I notice some fly activity, I will just spray. If I spray the volunteer tomorrow, will the glyphosate absorb into the plant, so as for me to plant wheat the following day?
thanks,
Jim |
