I am west of you in NE SD and yes I am very sick of fighting mud each field each day and it is rainig again today. We are harvesting our best crop ever here though. It was a fight to plant, spray, harvest and fall tillage will all be done in the mud.
I would sure think that sprout would break off and be fine once in the bin and froze up.
