Brinkley, Arkansas

Cheaper to grow cotton???? That's gotta be a joke right? Cotton and rice are by far the most expensive crops we grow. Way more than corn, beans, wheat or milo ever thought about. About $600/ bag for the best seed w/treatments and still every morning when you wake up there is a different bug chewing on your cotton that needs to be controlled either by insecticide or beneficial insect.  If you do decide to grow some cotton I've got a picker, builder and buggy I'll sell you "cheap". Money mouthMoney mouth

Cotton may be King but down here wheat is winning the race for 2008.
